A lot of people ask our technicians what the paint means with concrete scanning

A typical slab like the one above will have 2 layers of steel.

The BLUE paint indicates the bottom bar and the GREEN paint indicates the Top Steel. The WHITE paint represents a conduit and the RED is a Post Tension (PT) cable.

After scanning with the latest GSSI Ground Penetration Radar (GPR) Structure Scan and Radiodetection RD 7200 cable locater Wand – we map this for our clients in a report which allows them to determine the thickness of the slab (when it can be determined) and where to core their hole with accuracy to avoid the steel, PT’s, LIVE power and conduits.

Let us help you save the guess work, save lives, money and get it right the first time.
